Running my own wedding business has taught me A LOT about the importance of having efficient, client-friendly processes. It’s so easy for wedding pros to get stuck in the day-to-day and endless to-do list for their clients’ weddings, that we often forget to take a step back and look at the details of our own businesses.
The reality is: if you don’t have a streamlined client experience from start to finish, you’re leaving opportunities and money on the table. You could be forgetting essential steps to your process, and could be potentially under-delivering the quality of service to your clients.

10+ Years of Industry Experience
After years of experience in the events and the hospitality industry, I decided to make the big leap into being a full-time entrepreneur. I started my business being fully focused on wedding planning, where I plan tailored weddings for couples with other wedding planners in the area. After getting diagnosed with MS, I realized that I needed to shift my business to suit my new modified lifestyle.
The diagnosis, along with my experience of being in an interracial marriage, made me realize how much the wedding industry is lacking in diversity, in a lot of ways. This enables me to feel even more motivated to work with couples who don’t necessarily fit the “mold” that we see featured in big wedding publications and bridal shops.
I’m a DC, Maryland, and Virginia Wedding Planner, and will travel to almost any wedding within that area. If you’re looking to plan a wedding outside of the DMV area, reach out and let’s see how we can make it happen!

After we kick off our project together, we will schedule strategy calls and sessions that work best for your schedule and bandwidth to work through the process of completing the services within the project. We will use platforms and softwares to keep us on target and delegate tasks to hit our benchmarks to optimize our time together.

After our project is complete, we stay in touch! There will be a post-project follow-up session to review how things are going and if you’re ready to take the next step on a future project. If you ever have an issue with templates, tools, or software implemented, you can always schedule a quick session to help you.
